SOULS CAN HEAL
HEARTS CAN HEAL
EVERYTHING
❤️❤️❤️
I use to believe that I was unworthy.
I use to believe I wasn’t good enough.
I use to think I was broken.
I use to believe that I would always have a dark space in my soul.
I use to think the fighter in me was a bad part and needed to go away.
Triathon. And Ironman specifically. And that damn non-existence mass start very especially. And dogs. And my D.
Have taught me that EVERYTHING can heal. I’ve learned that I can heal from a near drowning as a child, spritzed up w a crappy childhood. D and these dogs and a couple other GEMS of people are helping me to heal some other parts. Freaking badassery is happening. Does it feel good. Nope. But I’m happy and doing it.
My dog Julie Rogue Boxer is leading the way. D helps her a lot too. She loves the heck out of him. She was a disaster tho. When I first got her. Anger. Abused. Hurt. Broken jaw. She would attack everything. And she continues her journey w letting go of her severe dog aggression. She follows my lead anymore. Her and I are bonded. So if I keep my shit together. She does too. And visa Versa.
This moment meant the world to me today. ❤️🐺👊🏻

Love for your eczema
A skin disorder that flies below the wire. Can be irritating. So whats to do?
Understanding why you get it. Good start. Can be triggered by this and that and blahdie blahdie BLAH!
WHY. Because your skin is a reflection of your internal health status. Your gut is upset, you might have acne on your face. Your hormones are out of balance, you might have breakouts under the chin. You don't drink enough water, your skin might be scaly. Even the wrinkles on your face tell a story!
My middle son Kai has a list of issues that we have been working with. Since birth. So when a new one came around, a patch of skin that turns out to be ECZEMA, I was like...REALLY? Another thing.
We work REAL hard to keep the allergies and asthma/heart stuff in check, so I was thinking, "OK. His nutritional status is exceptional. So the eczema solution might not be in the nutrition department."
Then I looked in my bathroom cupboard filled with wonderful things. And spied on what I used on my face for acne that helps me a TON.
Tea tree and lavender mixed one to one. These are Young Living Essential Oils, as I value the quality. You might ask why they work?
Food is medicine. Plants are medicine.
Tea Tree (Melaleuca): antimicrobial, antibacterial, anti fungal, antiviral = GOOOOOD Stuff.
Lavender: antiseptic, pain reliever = GOOOOOD Stuff too. And smells wonderful. Very calming.
So for Kai's spot of eczema. Worked like a charm. Week or so of 2 applications a day. Presto. And STRONG encouragement not to itch. :)
If you want to try it. Give me a shout. You can purchase the oils through me or I can make up some to try.
These two together = FIRST AIDE.
Glutathione – Understanding a Whole Food Diet
What the heck is Glutathione?
(gloota-thigh-own) Glutathione is a POWERFUL antioxidant. Why haven't you heard about it. Because it's not jazzy sounding like some. Not behind some product. Lots more could be said here, but we will skip for another day. We hear the word antioxidant ALL THE TIME. We throw that term around like we really understand it. But do we? If we did, I bet we'd try to get more of them. And hear this. Not all antioxidants are created equal. If you're breathing right now, moving your eyes to read, holding your breath... blinking, WHATEVER, you have the process going on in your body. Metabolism. Fact of life. We like to breathe, so the process is a great thing. But just like we like our cars, because walking to Starbucks everyday would not be all that pleasant, there are downsides to this process of living and breathing. Think of your car. You put gas in, the engine burns the gas for fuel, things go zoom to starbucks...but we totally forget the negative stuff, because in our car, unless your muffler goes out, you don't know that the exhaust of the engine burning fuel is a fact of life. We don't see it. It's behind us. Unless we are sitting behind the city bus, waiting for it to move the heck out of the way so we could get to starbucks.
